Anything Worth Saying

Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day, which always makes me think of marriage for some reason. Well, my brother, Matt, gave my mom a vase of flowers. I helped him tie the ribbon around it. My two other brothers, Lee and Andy, gave my mom a box with polymer clay decoration that was filled with candy. It had their pictures on it. My daddy really made it, so it was partly his gift too I think. My sister, Sam, got my mom a CD of this new worship singer who sounds really great, and my mom finds him attractive- Aaron Shust. Everyone gave their gifts to my mom this morning before church except for me. I wasn't quite finished with mine. My gift for my mom was a painting. I had her name vertically and words that begin with the letters of her name that describe her horizontally. My mom's name is Michelle, so I put Mother, Imaginative, Compassionate, Hyper, Energetic, Leader, Loving, and Eccentric. I think Mother's Day is a day to reflect on your relationship with your mom. Today I realized that I really do appreciate what my mom does for me. Even though my mom makes mistakes and even though she yells a lot, I'm beginning to understand what it might be like to be in her shoes. And she inspires me.

you find the situation just a bit uncomfortable

you'd rather stay far away from reality

for you to understand would be clearly impossible

so you shut your eyes and swear you can see

claiming there is a god

does that mean anything

so condescending to those that you don't understand

just too easy to make them your enemies

like an ostrich you bury your head in the sand

and then shout about all the things you believe

but if there is a god

don't you think he can see

what you really mean

what you're doing

you can't find the answer til you learn to question

you won't appear stupid just ask for direction

you're insecure and it clouds your perception

so stop and listen and learn a lesson in love

without condition

so place all the souls that you know in their own little box

quite convenient to handle them that way

you're the only one you know who carries a cross

but you don't care what they care about anyway

and you talk to your god

praying for those who sin

for their eyes to be opened

you can't find the answer til you learn to question

you won't appear stupid just ask for direction

you're insecure and it clouds your perception

so stop and listen and learn a lesson in love

without condition

"a passionate precaution preventing procrastination"

Prior to panicked penmanship,
people pay poor priority to producing punctual papers.
Playing pool and participating in parties provide promising
principles of pleasure that protect procrastination.

"Poppycock, I'll put pending publication pieces past
present proceedings and prepare previous projects prospectively."
Poor pupil; bypassing present paperwork promotes plentiful
Pain pertaining to potential passing power.

Perhaps proceeding pupils perceive preceding precautions and partake in
provisioning personal plans pertaining to proper project parameters.
Pacing paperwork positively progresses projects and
prevents partial products, pooped personas, and saves weary eyes.

i wonder
what true love feels like
i know
i will feel it
on my wedding day
but
i wonder
if it will be true
or not
if we will last
or not
that is why it is
hard for me to
trust him
